Founded by Gillia Bakie, Flicker partners with nonprofits, philanthropic organizations, and community-centered initiatives navigating growth, transition, funding opportunities, campaign planning, organizational change, and responsible AI adoption.
Gillia Bakie is the founder and principal consultant of Flicker Consulting. She brings senior-level fundraising leadership, complex grant writing experience, strategic planning expertise, and practical AI implementation support to organizations working for more just, joyful, and resilient communities.
Gillia has supported organizations across education, youth development, healthcare, advocacy, animal welfare, civic engagement, community development, and systems-change work. Her consulting practice includes fundraising strategy, interim development leadership, institutional giving, campaign readiness, donor communications, board and staff facilitation, and responsible AI adoption.
Before founding Flicker Consulting, Gillia served in nonprofit development leadership roles, including Director of Development at Washington State Charter Schools Association. Her experience includes building fundraising systems, managing donor relationships, developing major proposals, supporting campaigns, and helping organizations communicate complex work clearly and compellingly.
